The Richmond Education Foundation operates as a public non-profit foundation under the guidelines set up by the State of Michigan and the Federal Internal Revenue Service; it has been incorporated and operates under a set of bylaws which fully control the financial transactions. The Foundation raises money to support students and staff in Richmond Community Schools (Michigan), and gives out annual scholarships to graduating seniors, mini-grants to staff, and scholarships to students of all ages to attend various summer camps promoting academics, arts and leadership. |
